
Grand Marcquise, President and Founder of PROVOKE!
27 years old. Born and raised in the Washington, DC area. Graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Computer Engineering, minor in Electrical Engineering. Works full time as a Consultant and part time as a web designer and computer programmer. When not busy, he enjoys writing and making original music. He is currently working on his first collection of poems, his first novel, and remastering the original music he produces. Grand Marcquise wants to think all those who freelance for the magazine. Without them, this magazine would not be possible.
Tai Cole, Contributing Editor/ Freelance Writer
Tai Cole, an alumnus of Syracuse University, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Finance & International Relations with a minor in Anthropology. She is a free-lance writer and editor who has contributed to several online magazines and other publications and is currently the editor for Provoke Online magazine. Tai has worked in Banking, Finance and Public Relations and is currently working on her first novel. She is originally from Long Island, New York by way of Bermuda but currently resides in Maryland.
Jai Milan, Contributing Editor/ Freelance Writer
Jai is an alumni of Syracuse University, where she received her Bachelors degree in Business Marketing with a Minor in Music Industry. Originally from Florida, Jai currently resides in New York City, where she is the Personal Assistant/Manager of DJ Dummy.
Jai is also an actress/host model. Some of her current acing working is being submitted to film festivals. She was also part of Sirius Satellite Radio’s short-lived show, “DJ Dummy Presents...The Hottest show on Wax.” Jai has modeled for clients such as Heart & Soul magazine and Jose Cuervo and fashion lines such as American Vintage and Perfect Blue.
Abeo Folade, Freelance Writer
Native Washingtonian for 25 years. Abeo Folade enjoys writing and performing poetry in her spare time. She writes about love, relationships, and her traveled experiences around the world which have taken her to latin america, carribean, and Europe. She enjoys music, loves to dance and recently started Raising Expectations, a non-profit, for youths and adults to learn a greater appreciation for the arts.
Rachel Eagle Reiter, Freelance Writer
Rachel Eagle Reiter is a freelance writer. She also
specializes in several forms of holistic healing, including but not
limited
to Bach flower therapy and homeopathy. She is a graduate of SUNY Stony
Brook and resides on Long Island.

I'm a self-published author and poet. I also write lyrics, screenplays, and fan fiction. My self-published prose poetry collections are Silent Dreams and Tears of Sand, and I am currently writing freelance for many e-zines and websites.
Sandy Coke, Freelance Writer
Sandy Coke better known as "San Diego Cocaine", is a life long friend of the Grand Marcquise. Sandy Coke is one of the lead rappers in the infamous rap group produced by the Grand Marcquise, "The Glenmont Souljahs". Sandy Coke is currently working on Glenmont Souljah's next demo and constantly writing about what bothers him in todays society. Without a college degree, Sandy feels it is very important for those who don't attend college to educate themselves in every way possible.

Lady Aqua, Freelance Writer
Lady Aqua is a 24-year-old Black American who resides in District Heights, Maryland. She graduated from Suitland High School in 1999 and Syracuse University in 2003. She is currently a reporter for the Prince George's Gazette Newspaper. In addition to reporting, she is writing two novels, a book of poetry and is helping to edit two other novels. Aqua is also a tutor at the Church of the Great Commission in Camp Springs where she has been a member since 1992. She has deams of launching her own magazine and one day pursuing her own publishing empire.

events/happenings in our communities. We hope to act as a catalyst for
thought about today's more controversial issues in a open and non judgmental forum.
PROVOKE! does not intend in any way to pollute the airways or internet with
mindless nonsense but instead to act as a host for the networking of young
business minded artists of all kinds.
